[DESCRIPTION] The last batch of Luang Por Koon, “Long Life Millionaire” under Wat Bueng. Brass medal, created 1,023 pieces. Luang Por Nuang was the abbot of Wat Bueng from 2534 B.E. to 2554 B.E. He died on 5 Augest 2554 B.E. at the age of 73. Luang Por Koon & Luang Por Nuang were close. Luang Por Nuang fully respected LP Koon, and Luang Por Koon relied on Luang Por Nuang. Therefore, Luang Por Koon donated more than 100 million THB to construct the University for Monks which was handled by Luang Por Nuang. When Luang Por Nuang wished to create Luang Por Koon amulets, he was always fully supported by Luang Por Koon. This “Long Life Millionaire” batch also got approval from and was supported by Luang Por Koon. Twelve consecrated ceremonies were held during October 2553 B.E. to February 2554 B.E. Three of them were led and blessed by Luang Por Koon. The first was on 12 October 2553 B.E. at Wat Banrai, blessed by Luang Por Koon and Luang Por Nuang. The second was on 14 October 2553 B.E. at Wat Bueng, when 9 venerated monks participated in a ceremony led by Luang Por Koon. This was the biggest ceremony in two decades in this northeast district, and the last time that Luang Por Koon went to bless at a temple outside Wat Banrai. The third was on 28 January 2554 B.E. at Wat Banrai, blessed by Luang Por Koon and Luang Por Nuang. Nine additional times were blessed by venerated monks, such as Kruba Krisana, Luang Por Niyom, Luang Por Chumnan. The moulds were destroyed on 28 January 2554 B.E. after the third Luang Por Koon blessing. After finishing the consecrated ceremonies, Luang Por Nuang would have liked to designate this batch as the last batch of Luang Por Koon. However, many people visited and called Wat Bueng to reserve medals from this batch. In mid of June 2554 B.E. the committee made the decision to open reservations for medals from 1 July 2554 B.E. The amulets will be launched on 31 October 2555 B.E. All those who reserve amulets will have to wait for nearly a year and half. Unbelievably, in only two weeks, all amulets were reserved.
